    Physical Abuse is any physical act intended to control, harm, injure or inflict physical pain on another person.

    It is being slammed against a wall or being injured with a weapon or object. Brutal beatings can result in bruising, lacerations, broken bones or death.

    Physical Abuse Includes

    • Pushing/shoving
    • Slapping
    • Punching
    • Choking
    • Slapping/punching
    • Kicking
    • Pulling hair/grabbing
    • Throwing objects
    • Using weapons
    • Restraining you in any way
    • Any unwanted physical contact
